There are five funding amounts available — ranging from $1,100 up to $2,500!
In Zone 8, Junee’s local Essential Energy area, there are a total 17 community groups nominated, including FOUR organisations from Junee Shire;
- Junee Jokers Bowling Club

[NOTE: The Cancer Patients Assistance Society (CanAssist) listed in Zone 8 IS NOT the Junee Branch — Voting for them will NOT see funding come to the Junee Branch of CanAssist]
In Zone 4, which encompasses the South-Western corner of Junee Shire (and elsewhere), there are 15 community groups nominated, including ONE community group from Junee Shire:
- June Motor Club
Junee Motor Club is a not for profit organisation for motor enthusiasts. Our aim is to hold fund raising events regularly, to enable generous donations to local charities and those in need. So far The Club has donated money to the local Hospital Auxillary, School students in need, and local families with ill children

Junee’s Success from 2021
Last year’s Community Choices program saw three Community Groups from Junee successfully obtain funding thanks to Essential Energy’s Community Choices fund:
- Junee Junior Netball Association — $2,500,
- Riverina Working Equitation — $1,500, and
- Gasworks Motorsport — $600.
Your HOURLY votes will determine which local groups receive grants and how much they could receive –- get your friends and family involved [ps: they do NOT have to live within Junee, nor the Essential Energy Zone] because the more votes received, the more money our local organisations could receive. Give a big heart in the Junee community a little boost and vote for for all four of our local groups that makes a difference in our community each day.
Hopefully, if we ALL vote A FEW TIMES A DAY, we can see ALL FIVE groups in Junee Shire receive funding — even $1,100 can make a huge difference to our local community!
You can vote for multiple groups each day.
Voting closes at Midnight on Monday April 18, 2022.
Remember, most of Junee is in Zone 8 and one group is in Zone 4 and to bookmark this link so you can quickly vote each day!
